food is medicine course/retreat

“Let food by thy medicine and medicine thy food ”
— Hippocrates

Wouldn’t it be nice to leave your busy life behind and spend time connecting back to who you really love being, in a quiet setting creating beautiful food?

Each day will consist of cooking, nutrition workshops, yoga, nourishing food and wholesome activities.

Cook with delicious organic foods, slow down and learn some of the fundamentals of cooking (often not learnt unless taught), how to cook nutrient dense dishes and get the best out of your ingredients. Where you can learn about how to make balanced plates, knowing the food you are eating is supporting you.

Its four days (on site) dedicated to helping you connect back to you and your intuition and finding joy in the kitchen.

Learning to cook is one of the best things you can do for your health.

The way we eat has become so complicated but it really doesn’t need to be. I have worked in the world of food for nearly 2 decades and nutritional therapists for over one but most importantly I have brought up 3 children - I know how important eating “well” is but I also know how to cut corners and make it work in the world we live in - producing food thats delicious and boosted with nutrients - the medicine your body may be craving.

WHAT TO EXPECT

4 days of cooking and 3 night in beautiful, luxurious settings - learning about gut health, sourdough, knife skills, how to make food that boosted in nutrients with lectures to support what we cook from Nutritional Therapist Jo Saunders as well as plenty of time to relax and unwind with yoga, breathwork, saunas and crystal sound bathing
